For over 43 years, “Fiesta Folklórica Puertorriqueña” has hosted events that gather people of all races, ages, professions, and economic backgrounds together to celebrate Puerto Rican culture.  The day long event focuses on Latino traditions through a celebration of food, music and art, helping to continue and preserve them for future generations. The event has been held at Rumsey Playfield, in Central Park, for over 20 years, and is the largest Puerto Rican community event held in New York, second only to the National Puerto Rican Day Parade.  .
